The stars have aligned to make this ANZAC day a long weekend to remember. 6am Light Up Victory Park & The Diggers Wife Cafe turns on a Gunfire Breakfast just for you. 10am Service at the Devenish Silos 12pm Spit Roast at the Veterans Retreat 1:30pm Learn to play 'Two-Up' 3pm AFL On the Big Screen.

About the activity
ANZAC Day 2022 lands on a Monday and thus we have a 3 day long weekend public holiday to get together in Goorambat and enjoy the ANZAC Day commemoration activities we have planned, including: a family spit roast, a chance to get skilled in the art of 'Two-Up and even kick back to watch the AFL Collingwood vs Essendon blockbuster screened live from the MCG.
ANZAC Day activities will include the usual commemorative formalities, a Light-Up the Dawn Service at Victory Park in Goorambat followed by a traditional Gunfire Breakfast at the nearby Diggers Wife Cafe. Later in the morning, we will join with our local communities at the nearby Devenish grain silos for an Anzac Day Service. These silos have some magnificent artwork commemorating our ADF Combat Nurses and the Australian Light Horse.
Our recreational camping facilities will also be open to ADF Veterans and their families, its also the last weekend of the Victorian School Holidays. So if you think you’d like to make a week or a weekend of it, please book early to avoid disappointment.
